About a month before his first birthday, this little guy...
decided it was in his best interest to find an alternative to crawling. Having 3 older brothers is tough when you're slow, especially when they take your toys and run. Not any more! Watch out brothers, here I
Slow, choppy baby steps quickly turned into running. Nearly 3 months later, Z can keep pace with all the big boys. Looking for the next challenge, he decided he ought to dedicate a little more time fine-tuning his climbing skills.
I was doing the dishes today and turned my back to put the silverware away. When I turned back around, I had a little boy standing in the open dishwasher. Mission complete! And so it begins.

I well remember those days! I had 4 kids really close together too, and I can testify to the challenge and adventure of it all. Kelly started walking at 9 months, Joe just the day before his first birthday, Laine at 11 months, and Johnny at ten months. Your boys are so beautiful! I love checking out your latest projects, and hearing about your life. Hugs to you all!
What a little booger...but such a cute one!! Well what can I say you just added to your already full hands! I guess if you have to deal with all that atleast they are all cute right?! If they weren't I think I would be scared for them! ;)
Here's what I've determined...the further down the family food-chain they are, the faster they learn to move and defend their territory. Also the cuter they are, the more they know they can get away with!
PS - love the new photo & blog header
that is awesome!
WOW, he sure got big fast. Admit it, instead of making lunch you open a big jar of mayonnaise and set it on the kitchen floor and let the kids have at it. (doesn't everyone do that?)
They are so big. Oh my GOSH! I just was thinking about you and WHAM! I decided that I would check this out. They are so big. I miss you tons.
Ahhgg! I can't believe he got in the dishwasher! Nathan (7months) is now pulling up to the dishwasher height... but, thankfull, that's it!
