Hey Sharp Tooth

Last night the boys were outside riding bikes and running around as usual and Sam tripped (again!) on the sidewalk. His mouth was bleeding for a little bit but stopped without a problem. As I got him out of the tub I noticed a little something different in his mouth. This picture doesn't do it justice, but he's got a chip on the bottom corner of his top tooth. Watch out big brothers- here comes Sharp Tooth the T-Rex and he just might eat you!

{we've now got one who will soon start losing his baby teeth, one with a grey dead tooth, one with a chipped tooth, and one who hasn't got his first tooth in yet. You name it, we've got it! Talk about variety}

Grrr...is he going to gnaw on everyone with that thing? I remember the exact moment I chipped a permanent tooth (front and center big one on top) as a child - I was climbing out of a pool and slipped and hit my tooth and knocked a big old corner off. I had big front teeth and already had a decent gap so it was lovely. I finally got it sculpted when I had braces several years later. At least his is a baby tooth, right?

Little boys and chipped teeth go hand in hand! I see you're in Chandler now. Most of my bros and sisters live in the Mesa/Gilbert area. Neal and I think we may end up there in a few years. Are you surviving the heat?! :)

When I was a kid I chipped my front tooth on my pogo stick. To this day half of my front tooth is fake. It's a pain because every once in a while it'll chip (because the fake stuff wears out and is less strong then a real tooth) and I have to pay to get it fixed again. He's lucky he chipped a baby tooth. That's no sweat.
